The King Louis Grill and Bar

After much anticipation, decided to try out The King Louis Grill and Bar right in Vivo City.

Situated in a corner, it would not be easy to locate unless you have heard of this restaurant beforehand. Otherwise, one could have easily missed it.

Ordered Fanta Peach Float ($6.00). Not a avid float drinker, this drink seems alright to me, but would have preferred juice instead. On the right is Breezer ($8.00), which is supposed to be a mocktail, with lime juice & orange juice with lemonade. All in all, there's nothing special except that the taste of orange juice is empowering the lime juice.

Initially had wanted to just try out Banana Bacon Bites, but since there is a platter to try others out, I ordered Platter A ($17.90), consisting of Castle Drumlets, Bratwurst Sausages, Banana Bacon Bites, & Cripsy Wedges.

Castle Drumlets does not seems to have any special marinate, and it tasted quite bland. Bratwurst Sausages was my favorite of all 4, as it is soft to bite in and taste is extremely appetizing. My anticipated Banana Bacon Bites was disappointing even though both bacon and banana is well-cooked. Both items does not emerge well to be partners, in terms of taste. Lastly, Cripsy Wedges is crispy, yet that's all to it.

Provencal Porkloin ($23.50) has its porkloin slow-cooked and grilled, served with creamy mushroom sauce. Porkloin is hard to slice, mushroom sauce is little to smudge with, thus found little/no reasons to recommend this dish.

Served with roasted potato, mesclun and corn salsa, Crispy Cheesy Chicken ($17.90) was my only satisfying dish. Cheese is clearly melted, and tastes good when eaten together with the meat, which is supple to chew, unlike the porkloin.

PS: Both main dishes has their sides changed to only roasted potato, on request.

Now, here's to how the restaurant looks like.

If you are intending to host some minor business gathering, I suppose this restaurant is able to accommodate to such event.
