Thai To Go (Foodpanda Singapore)

I bet some of us, at times, would feel like lazing around at home, yet stomach is grumbling to you about how hungry it is :( Yes, I had it a lot of times. KFC? No mood... Macdonalds? Not again... I want no fast food!!!

So I decided to try this new online food ordering site that caught my attention recently. It allows you to select food from a variety of participating cafes/restaurants serving several cuisines. Order will be passed on from Foodpanda's system to the cafes/restaurants. What's next? I can simply continue to laze around till my doorbell starts ringing for my attention :D

What attracts me to use their online ordering service is their ease of locating nearby participating eateries by postal code! It makes the ordering process more complete by having useful details, and several filter options such as eateries with discount?!?! Depending on your location, the system automatically update the nearby eateries on the left column.

Once you placed the order, you will receive an sms to verify your order, and then followed by email confirmation of your order being received by Foodpanda, and another sms to confirm the restaurant has confirmed your order!

Here I am... looking at the clock ticking away... waiting for my order to be realized...

Yes... From initial delivery time of 90 mins as stated, it became 100 mins in my confirmation sms. Not a time-fussy person, but food came 3 hours after I placed my order...... I went through Foodpanda's live chat to enquire about my order, and restaurant responded due to heavy rain and overwhelming responses.

Well, luckily the food came piping hot, still.

Yummy! Stuffed Chicken Wing is like what we can expect - bones gone. Can't really figure out the "stuffed" ingredients, but probably "tang hoon", or known as 冻粉 in Mandarin, carrots and maybe chicken meat.

Green Curry Beef has its curry thick and little creamy. A little spicy due to red chili in it. Beef is tender to chew easily. One of my favorites for now!

Saucy Braised Tofu with Minced Chicken seems like one typical chinese dish. Generally this dish is very suitable to be eaten with rice, as sauce is thick, and seems to have sipped into the ingredients.

I am glad to have been contacted by Foodpanda to try out their service, and I will definitely satisfy my craving with them again! They have "livechat" and response to email is quite speedy too :) If they can keep on engaging yummylicious eateries, I don't see why I will stop visiting their webby :P

"Thai To Go" wise, if not for the 3 hours delivery time, probably unintentionally, it would not have been that bad. Food is ok, not the nicest, but it's still reasonably priced. For my next order, I will be hoping to order from "Kampong18" for their Herbal Chicken and Oven Baked Paper Wrapped Honey Chicken! Hoping to find some real solid time, to order and enjoy my food very soon :)

  1. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation?
My site has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any methods to help reduce content from being ripped off? I'd certainly
    appreciate it.
