Ocean Restaurant

Ever since Marine Life Park was opened, I admit I am one of those who can't wait to experience it first hand. Went to the Aquarium, and then the Adventure Cove Water Park. Both attractions are fun.. So do give them a visit if you have yet too!

Finally, completing my last thing on the list, probably not... Ocean Restaurant!

There are two entrances to the Ocean Restaurant. One of them is via the S.E.A. Aquarium, where you can have have a meal halfway through those awesome marine exhibits.

Another one is via the carpark. If you intend to drive there, look out for B1 West Carpark, heading towards Equarius Hotel. This will be a cheaper alternative where you do not have to pay the entrance fee to S.E.A Aquarium, but just the food itself. Yet, still able to see up-close of the marines :)

Ok. Enough of the talks, and off to the interiors...

Food wise is actually quite straightforward. Choose either 2 course ($42.00++) or 3 course ($55.00++) set lunch, and select from a minimal list of dishes. Or, you can go for ala carte.

We had the 2 course set lunch each.

One of our starter was Sous Vide 48 degree King Salmon ($26.00++). Salmon is pretty fresh! But quite ironic to be eating seafood while having the marines swimming beside you :P

Another starter was Deep Fried Calamari & Prawns ($22.00++). Squeeze the lemon, and dip it with their spicy aioli sauce... Not bad :)

For the mains, we had Baby Lamb Rack wih Gremolata ($46.00++).

Wagyu Short Rib ($46.00++). Love their crispy cheese croquette, and of course the soft, juicy wagyu beef!

My belated birthday cake, again. Haha. Cheesecake, and I liked it a lot.

Truly an awesome experience! You may not be a swimmer or diver, but if you love the graceful moves of the marines, enjoy a peaceful dining ambience, and have some delectable food at the same time, Ocean Restaurant shoud be in your list :) To be honest, I am enjoying every bit of their food and time spent in Ocean Restaurant :)

I have been able to take some close-up photos of the marines during my meal throughout. Thought would be good to share! Marine View from Ocean Restaurant

But be reminded that if you enter through the carpark, you do not have free/complimentary access to the S.E.A. Aquarium.

  1. I definitely want to experience this one in SG. After my relatives finally decided on buying some luxury property Singapore for our family, I can now go to SG and spent my summer vacations there. This is the first on my list to visit.

    1. Hi Kimberley, my apologies. Having a meal in Ocean Restaurant does not permit you free access or discounted entrance fee to the aquarium, and vice versa.

But having a meal in Ocean Restaurant, does gives you a great view of the marines too through the glass panel, but less the entire tour of the aquarium :)

  4. Nice blog, and I really enjoyed your review of Ocean Restaurant at SEA Aquarium. My S.O. and I were debating on whether to eat there or not next week and your review has surely made us decide to do so! Cheers, James and Theeraphat from Udon Thani, Thailand
