High Society

While looking at the catologue and wondering what to stuff in my stomach for dinner, High Society was just behind my back waiting for me to say "Hi". I went, and was glad I had it for dinner.

Classy decor with dim lights, resulting in comfortable ambience.

Do note that if you are entering for desserts, you will be directed to the low tables located near the entrance, while high tables for the mains.

Lychee Iced Tea ($9.00) and Coke ($6.00) for our drinks.

Cajun Spring Chicken ($25.00) is Pan-Seared Half Baby Chicken with Seasonal Vegetables. Underneath the cajun chicken is actually carrot puree.

Fish and Chips ($23.00) is Norwegian Haddock in Tempura Batter with French Fries & Tartare sauce. I love the fish and it was fresh and meat is so tender! French fries turned out to be truffle fries, and is now ranked one of the best in my truffle list :)

Felt sinful not trying their sweets, so I pocketed my wallet for it! Nope, not for the cupcakes...

Under the section Cups, we ordered Tiramisu ($9.00) with highlights such as Mascarpone Cheese Mousse with Coffee Infused Ladyfinger. There is liqueur in it, and quite strong too if you are used to those without. But not enough to make you drunk, as confirmed by a non-drinker like me :P Soothing dessert!

Under Mini Cakes, we ordered the Raspberry Mille Feuille ($9.00), having Caramelized Puff Pastry, Vanilla Mascarpone Cream and Raspberry Jam. Crunchy and creamy dessert. We had this cleaned up in no time too!

Side by side with That CD Shop, you get to enjoy some pop music for free! Anyway, although crew looks a little underhanded, getting their attention wasn't hard at all. Attentive and polite. Even though some orders were mistakenly charged to my table, they rectified it pretty fast. Nothing major, still a thumbs up for them.. so is their food :)
