The Alley Cafe

The Alley Cafe is located around Outram Park, and walking distance from MRT could be around 10-15 minutes. This is my second visit to The Alley Cafe, as my previous visit was an awesome one, which my friends and I really enjoyed the food and sides a lot.

Shop space pretty much fits the name, from a narrow corridor which depict the "alley" to a little more spacious area for accommodating bigger crowd.

Todai Restaurant, Singapore

If you are a fan of international cuisine, especially in buffet style, I doubt Todai will sound new to you. I have been to Todai before for lunch, and they serve a variety of food, such as Korean, Chinese, Japanese cuisines and such. Most importantly, if you a die-hard fan of seafood, Todai does not fail you either.

This year, Todai is celebrating its 4th year birthday anniversary, and I am glad to be invited for trying out some of the birthday treats gathered from several parts of the globe.

Eat at Taipei

I always feel guilty for not being able to produce nice photos, especially when I had to use my phone camera to substitute.

Was invited for a food tasting during CNY period at "Eat at Taipei". I have went to the branch at Jcube before, and it was shakingly-cold there as it is just right next to the ice rink. But makes it a reasonable excuse to go for a skate after a meal to work out the extra fats consumed earlier on.

Anyway, this time we visited the branch at Chinatown Point, which is just located at the corner, next to the escalator and entrance/exit point of the mall.

The Beast

This is an outdated post which I visited last year slightly before the Halloween.

Coming down from Lavender MRT to Bugis MRT, The Beast is just conveniently located along the main road. Parking can be a challenging one, as it is limited to only street parking and indeed limited slots if you happen to visit at the wrong timing.

The Beast aim to serve classic Southern American cooking, with an extensive selection of craft beers and cocktails. They have indoor and outdoor seating at the ground floor, but it can be pretty squeezy, suitable for drinks and bites. Up to the 2nd storey, The Beast is able to accommodate more diners, but only indoor, and also the place where proper benches and tables are provided for the purpose of mains.

The Coastal Settlement

The Coastal Settlement (TCS) has been around for a long time, yet this was my first time visiting them. Located near the chalets, and opposite the abandoned Old Changi Hospital, The Coastal Settlement set itself in the midst of greenish plantations, more like a garden concept in colonial style.

There are 2 parking lots near The Coastal Settlement, where one is situated right outside the TCS, like a backyard kind, while another is meant more for public carpark.
