Whisk & Paddle

Opened for a couple of months already, Whisk & Paddle is a cafe that is situated alongside the Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk. Instead of the air-conditioned cafe that most would prefer to have, Whisk & Paddle would rather diners to have a taste of their food as well as a sniff of the nature.

Jamie's Italian

Jamie's Italian, the only outlet based in Singapore, which also has been crazily raved about in the UK.

Had wanted to try their breakfast menu which was launched recently, but the earliest time I could make it was past 2pm. Therefore, we still went ahead with their lunch menu.

Concetto by Saveur

Bringing Italian Cuisine more affordable to the masses has indeed gained Concetto a favorable number of praises, for both its food and price. If you still having the mindset of such western cuisine are more for the "people-of-the-rich", then you would be missing out some good food.

Located visibly when you are down from Plaza Singapura to The Cathay, Concetto is just at the corner of the descending staircase to level 1 of The Cathay.

NOX - Dine in the Dark

NOX - Dine in the Dark is an interesting concept, and by far I believe, is still a unique concept in Singapore. Located in the premises of the popular Haji Lane, and where pub-goers and exotic cuisines are located as well, NOX is just right opposite the PARKROYAL Hotel, further down after FIKA in the direction of the Beach Road Army Market.
